Instructions to access NOAA Forge for the review of GPRD I
First time users:
1) Go the the following site: http://class1.nesdis-hq.noaa.gov/
2) On the left side, click “Login via SSL”. IF you have not Registered for NOAA Forge, go to A)….
Otherwise continue with #3 below.
- A) Click “New User via SSL
- B) Fill in all information.
Make Login Name “firstnamelastname” if possible & without spaces or other
punctuation. I recommend you use your work email. Click “Register”.
- C) NOAA Forge will send you an email to
request your confirmation. After confirmation, you can come back to NOAA Forge main page and
begin with number 1 above.
3) Enter your login name and password.
4) Click on “Project Map” on the left side of the screen.
5) The alphabetical list of projects is on the bottom of the screen; choose “AA GPRD I Review”
6) You will now see the Project summary screen
7) On the left side, click on “Bookmark this page”
8) Under “Add New Bookmarks” you may click either choice.

A) “Visit bookmarked page” takes you back to where you just were

B) “Back to your homepage” takes you where you were when you Logged In. (on the right, you’ll
notice “My Bookmarks”; you can choose the title of the page you bookmarked to return to it…
you’ll want to do this when you return to NOAA Forge in the future)
9) Click on “Docs” on the menu near the top of the page (you may bookmark this page as well)
10) lick on the title of the file you would like to view, for example: “Review instructions”
-
A) Clicking on the picture of the folder
or  expands and collapses the list of documents
for a particular folder.
Warning!
Clicking this  will
remove you from whatever section it is next to (for example: it will remove the bookmark you
created from the “My Bookmarks” section)
